For Mentees
No, a mentee can be allotted only one mentor and/or assigned a single project.
If your mentor does not respond as committed, try to get in touch with a follow up mail. In case you still face the same issue, please report it at alumnicell@iitbhu.ac.in.
The sole purpose of collecting contact information from you is to avoid any communication gap and ensure smooth running of the program.
A mentee is expected to be responsive enough when interacting with the mentor and extract the most of their knowledge and experience. Prolonged unresponsiveness from the mentees’ end will result in them being ruled out from the program.
For Mentors
Your data is safe with us! You can choose who you want to share it with, i.e., your department, local alumni chapter. We use basic information to connect you to your friends when they search through the 'Find a Friend' feature. No personal contact details will be shared (email address or phone number) without your consent, in any case whatsoever.
The above fields have been decided upon as a result of a survey conducted by team SAIC among the students. All other fields may be floated but with no assurance of provision of a student mentee. It is completely up to students’ interests.
In case of such behaviour, please report it at alumnicell@iitbhu.ac.in. The disciplinary actions will be taken by the higher authorities and the mentee will not be allowed to take part in any of the future initiatives of SAIC.
