1994 Batch Silver Jubilee - DejaBHU
" Life sometimes converts Deja Vus into reality"
The joyous reunion of 1994 batch was held from the 22nd to the 24th of December, 2019 in Varanasi. This Silver Jubilee meet, named DéjàBHU, with its gala dinners and splendid performances was an extravagant affair. It helped connect the 140+ Alumni who attended this celebration along with their families. Benares tour, Darshan at Kashi Vishwanath, Subha-e-Banaras, Ganga Aarti and Boat - rides rejuvenated their young spirits. The Institute and departmental visits brought back threads of colourful memories their highly passionate, enthusiastic selves had once made. After a meeting with the Director, in the giving back event, this batch pledged monetary funds worth 1.1 crore INR and aims to collect 3 crore INR soon. Apart from that our Alumni Mallikarjun Sundaram promised to contribute equity of $100,000 through shares. The '94 batch wishes that future batches continue, if not take this threshold higher. They want other batches to come forward to connect and collect for their institute. We are extremely grateful to all the alumni for this benevolent act. With spirits running high and nostalgia gripping each alumnus, SAIC successfully lived up to its motto of 'Connect, Engage, Celebrate' via this meet.
